What we manufacture
Aquarium lighting is a spectrum-and-intensity problem wearing a grow light’s clothes. The engineering is the same — diode selection, an aluminium substrate that moves heat away, a driver with good current regulation — but the acceptance criteria are different, and that difference is where a lot of suppliers get caught:
- A grow light is judged on PPFD at the canopy. An aquarium light is judged on PAR at the substrate, which sits under water and under a depth of glass.
- Aquarium buyers want colour rendering (CRI 90+) because they are looking at fish and coral, not leaves.
- The fixture has to be sealed and corrosion-resistant, and often sits in a hood where condensation is normal.
We build to the same tested LED platform as our grow lights, with the spectrum, PAR target, and housing specified for the tank rather than for a generic fixture.

The values above are typical for the platform, not a commitment for your order. Every aquarium project is configured differently, because PAR at substrate depends on tank depth, water clarity, and the mounting height above the waterline. Confirm the final numbers against your own fixture drawing before you commit.

What you get with every order
A spectral report and a PAR map for the exact model, tied to your configuration. If the fixture needs a safety certification for your market, tell us which one before sampling — certification is tied to the model and the entity that owns it, and that is much harder to change after tooling.
